Everest Three Pass Trek Kongma La (5535 m), Cho La (5430 m) and Renjo La (5345 m) are adventure high passes trekking in Everest region of Nepal. When Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay set off on their heroic journey in 1953, this region became famous for trekking and climbing the peaks. Mount Everest “SAGARMATHA” (in Nepali language) at 8848 m is the main attraction because of world highest peak. Lhotse 8516 m, Cho-Oyu 8201m, Makalu 8463 m, AmaDablam 6812 m are also attractions mountains. It is also identified as the home of the Sherpa people and the mysterious Yeti. This trek comprises not only Everest Base Camp but also Namche Bazaar, Lukla, Tengboche and the valley of the Solukhumbu. It boasts the world’s highest Buddhist monastery in Tengboche 3860 m. Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,320 m/4,330 ft.) and transfer to Hotel

Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu our representative will give a warm welcome. Then you will be transferred to the hotel by our representative. Along with a welcome drink in the evening, you will be given a comprehensive briefing about your trek.

 

Day 02: City Sightseeing to UNESCO sites

Today you will be taken a full day of sightseeing to visit UNESCO World Heritage Sites like Kathmandu Durbar Square, Boudhanath, Swayambhunath (The Monkey Temple), and Pashupatinath all within the Kathmandu Valley. A well-versed tour guide will accompany you for a guided tour. The evening can be spent browsing and wandering around the vibrant streets of Thamel, its excellent restaurants and souvenir shops.

 

Day 03: Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (2,804 m/ 9,200 ft.) 35 min & trek to Phakding (2,623 m/8,605 ft. 4-6 hrs).

Your day begins with an early departure on Domestic Airport morning flight to Lukla of about 35 minutes. After the landing, you will be introduced with Porters and crew members and start our trek to Phakding enjoying the beautiful views and interacting with lovely people from typical Sherpa’s villages. Overnight stay at the tea house in Phakding.

 

Day 04: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440 m/ 11,286 ft.) 6-7 hrs.

From Phakding, we ascend to Namche Bazaar; a delightful mountain town and considered as the gateway of Everest region. The Himalayas has mesmerizing views from Namche along with ever facilities like restaurants, bank, shops, etc. Overnight at tea house in Namche Bazaar.

Day 05: Rest day at Namche Bazaar

After the continuous trek today, we will have a rest day that is reserved as acclimatization process at the higher altitude. It is important to have proper rest so that you may not suffer from altitude sickness in further coming days. You can have a short hike towards Everest View Hotel to see the close-up views of famous mountain ranges along with the panoramic view of the world highest mountains including Mt. Everest. After enjoying the view, we will get back to Namche, and take rest and enjoy the rest of the day by visiting the beautiful town.

Day 06: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,867 m/12,686 ft.) 5-6 hrs.

We will start our day with breakfast at Namche at early morning and continue our trek to Tengboche. The trek is a mesmerizing experience with the wonderful views of Himalayas; Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku and Kwangde peak and so on. We pass through beautiful pine forest steeply upward and finally reach to Tengboche. Magnificent views of the world’s highest mountains and the renowned oldest and biggest Buddhist Tengboche monasteries are the attention seekers of the region. At the end of the day, we will have overnight stay at the tea house in Tengboche.

Day 07: Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche (4,350 m/14,272 ft.) 5-6 hrs.

From Tengboche, we head towards Dingboche. Dingboche is the region full of life with beautifully cultivated fields of barley, potato, and many more. It is also known as the gateway for Island Peak Climbing. While trekking to Dingboche you experience the purity of nature where the lush green Rhododendron forest on the way with pleasant sounds of birds steals your hearts away. After passing through several mani walls, typical villages, several Chortens, and crossing the bridges following the Imja Khola we finally reach to Dingboche and spend our night stay at the tea house.

Day 08: Acclimatization day at Dingboche for acclimatization and excursion

We will have a rest day today. In this high altitude, the temperature is extreme and our body could be stiffed so it’s important to ensure our body gets rest well for the further trek to our destination avoiding altitude sickness. You can take a short walk around the village and also enjoy a view of majestic peaks like Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Cho-Oyu, Ama Dablam, Island peak, Cholaste, Taboche and so on. We will have enough free time to rest and relax. Overnight stay at the tea house in Dingboche.

Day 09: Trek from Dingboche to Chukhung (4,743 m/15,560 ft.) 4-5 hrs.

We will start our day with breakfast at Dingboche and start our trek heading towards Chukhung. Chukhung is also renowned as Imjatese. The trek is fully mesmerized with the wonderful ranges of Himalayas: Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Island Peak (Imjatse), Ama Dablam, Thamserku, and Kwangde peak and so on.  After continuous walk for around 4/5 h, we finally reach towards beautiful Chukhung valley. We will have our night stay at the tea house in Chukhung.

Day 10: Trek from Chukhung to Lobuche (4,930 m/16,170 ft.) via Kongma La pass (5,535 m/18,154 ft.) 6-7 hrs.

We have been ascending as a normal trek till Chukhung but today it is going to be one of the difficult and exciting passes i.e. Kongma La Pass. As we are done with our breakfast we will gently walk through the valley and head uphill trail to the great Kongma La Pass. Today is one of the tough and exciting first pass (Kongma la Pass) on your adventurous trip. Gradually we will trek towards the Khumbu glacier moraines where you may mislead or come up difficulties so you can follow our guides to avoid problems. Onwards the path gets tougher, the final trial turns north through Khumbu glacier leading to Lobuche. Overnight stay at a tea house in Lobuche.

Day 11: Trek from Lobuche to Gorak Shep (5,170 m/16,961 ft.) and hike to Everest Base Camp (5,364 m/17,598 ft.) and back to Gorak Shep. 6-8 hrs.

We start our day with breakfast at Lobuche. It is the most awaited day of a trek where we will be heading towards Everest Base Camp (EBC). We ascend towards the village with small groups of Sherpa’s living named as Gorak Shep. We will continue walking crossing ups and downs in snowy land and successfully reached to the Everest Base Camp. Being on Everest Base Camp you can have a feel of being on top of the world witnessing the world’s highest mountain, Mt. Everest along with tremendous views of Himalayan ranges like Nuptse, Lhotse, Pumori, Khumbuste, Ama Dablam, and many more. Apart from the Himalayas, the Khumbu Glacier is so amazing to stare at. Experiencing the lifetime awesome experience, we step back to Gorak Shep with the same trial as there is no option for stay. Overnight stay at the tea house in Gorak Shep.

Day 12: Hike to Kalapathar(5,545 m/18,192 ft.)andtrek to Lobuche (4,930 m/16,170 ft.) 6-7 hrs.

Early in the morning, we will start our trek climbing the top of Kalapatthar (5,545 m). It is the best spot to view the scene in the Everest region. The early sunrise on top of snow-capped mountains leaves you still for a moment along with the breathtaking panoramic views of mountains. We traced back to Gorak Shep and take rest for meanwhile enjoying the breakfast and slowly move back to Lobuche. Overnight stay at the tea house in Lobuche.

Day 13: Trek from Lobuche to Dzongla (4,830 m/15,850 ft.) 4-5 hrs.

We descend back to Dzongla alongside the Khumbu Glacier after having breakfast at Lobuche. We reach Dzongla after crossing variant ups and down, the Chola Khola bridge and settle for the night stay at a tea house.

Day 14: Trek from Dzongla to Gokyo (4,750 m/15,580 ft.) via Cho La Pass (5,387 m/ 17,673 ft.) 7-8 hrs.

At Dzongla we start our day with breakfast and get well prepared for the next challenging trek crossing through Cho La pass. In the Everest region, passing through icy trials and glaciers, on top we can admire wonderful Chola Lake and beautiful Himalayan ranges. We continue our trek to Gokyo valley passing through Gokyo Lake. Overnight stay at the tea house in Gokyo.

Day 15: Acclimatization day at Gokyo and excursion over Gokyo RI (5,357 m/17,575 ft.) and Gokyo lakes. 3-4 hrs.

It’s another day for acclimatization at a higher altitude to ensure proper rest for a body. We will have enough leisure time to rest. We will have breakfast at Gokyo and explore the region

Day 16: Trek from Gokyo to Marulung (4,210 m/13,810 ft.) via Renjo La pass (5,345 m/17,532 ft.) 8-9 hrs.

It’s a third and final pass of this adventurous trek via Renjo La pass. After breakfast, we will head toward the end of Gokyo Lake. You can witness the astounding scenario of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Cholatse and Taboche and then over Renjo la pass. After accomplishing the crosses over the frozen ponds beneath Renjo la we trace our footstep back to the village, Marling. Overnight stay at the tea house in Marlung.

 

Day 17: Trek from Marlung to Namche Bazaar (3,440 m/11,286 ft.) 6-7 hrs.

We start our day with breakfast at Marlung make ourselves ready to move back to Namche Bazaar. On the way back you can interact with the people from Sherpa village and get a closer experience of their living style and culture and the monasteries.

Day 18: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2,804 m/9,200 ft.) 6-7 hrs.

Starting day with breakfast we will have continuous walk to Phakding. Following Dudh Koshi River and the suspension bridges, crossing over the pine and rhododendron forest, and ups and downs we finally reach Lukla. This is the final day of our trek so we will be enjoying our last dinner together celebrating the success of the trip.  We will be staying our last night together at a tea house in Lukla.

Day 19: Fly back to Kathmandu (1,320 m/4,330 ft.) 35 min. and free day

To fly back to Kathmandu, we will have an early flight which is about 35 to 40 minutes. After landing at Kathmandu airport our representatives will be there to receive you and they will be transferring you back to the hotel room. You can have a rest in your room or else can explore the shops and restaurants nearby.

Day 20: Farewell and Final Departure.

Our adventurous trek to the lap of mountains ends here and it’s time to say goodbye. Our representative will drop you to the airport and give you farewell hooping to see you again for another adventure at another part of Nepal.

We will start our day with breakfast at Namche at early morning and continue our trek to Tengboche. The trek is a mesmerizing experience with the wonderful views of Himalayas; Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku and Kwangde peak and so on. We pass through beautiful pine forest steeply upward and finally reach to Tengboche. Magnificent views of the world’s highest mountains and the renowned oldest and biggest Buddhist Tengboche monasteries are the attention seekers of the region. At the end of the day, we will have overnight stay at the tea house in Tengboche.

Day 07: Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche (4,350 m/14,272 ft.) 5-6 hrs.

From Tengboche, we head towards Dingboche. Dingboche is the region full of life with beautifully cultivated fields of barley, potato, and many more. It is also known as the gateway for Island Peak Climbing. While trekking to Dingboche you experience the purity of nature where the lush green Rhododendron forest on the way with pleasant sounds of birds steals your hearts away. After passing through several mani walls, typical villages, several Chortens, and crossing the bridges following the Imja Khola we finally reach to Dingboche and spend our night stay at the tea house.

Day 08: Acclimatization day at Dingboche for acclimatization and excursion

We will have a rest day today. In this high altitude, the temperature is extreme and our body could be stiffed so it’s important to ensure our body gets rest well for the further trek to our destination avoiding altitude sickness. You can take a short walk around the village and also enjoy a view of majestic peaks like Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Cho-Oyu, Ama Dablam, Island peak, Cholaste, Taboche and so on. We will have enough free time to rest and relax. Overnight stay at the tea house in Dingboche.

Day 09: Trek from Dingboche to Chukhung (4,743 m/15,560 ft.) 4-5 hrs.

We will start our day with breakfast at Dingboche and start our trek heading towards Chukhung. Chukhung is also renowned as Imjatese. The trek is fully mesmerized with the wonderful ranges of Himalayas: Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Island Peak (Imjatse), Ama Dablam, Thamserku, and Kwangde peak and so on.  After continuous walk for around 4/5 h, we finally reach towards beautiful Chukhung valley. We will have our night stay at the tea house in Chukhung.

Day 10: Trek from Chukhung to Lobuche (4,930 m/16,170 ft.) via Kongma La pass (5,535 m/18,154 ft.) 6-7 hrs.

We have been ascending as a normal trek till Chukhung but today it is going to be one of the difficult and exciting passes i.e. Kongma La Pass. As we are done with our breakfast we will gently walk through the valley and head uphill trail to the great Kongma La Pass. Today is one of the tough and exciting first pass (Kongma la Pass) on your adventurous trip. Gradually we will trek towards the Khumbu glacier moraines where you may mislead or come up difficulties so you can follow our guides to avoid problems. Onwards the path gets tougher, the final trial turns north through Khumbu glacier leading to Lobuche. Overnight stay at a tea house in Lobuche.

Day 11: Trek from Lobuche to Gorak Shep (5,170 m/16,961 ft.) and hike to Everest Base Camp (5,364 m/17,598 ft.) and back to Gorak Shep. 6-8 hrs.

We start our day with breakfast at Lobuche. It is the most awaited day of a trek where we will be heading towards Everest Base Camp (EBC). We ascend towards the village with small groups of Sherpa’s living named as Gorak Shep. We will continue walking crossing ups and downs in snowy land and successfully reached to the Everest Base Camp. Being on Everest Base Camp you can have a feel of being on top of the world witnessing the world’s highest mountain, Mt. Everest along with tremendous views of Himalayan ranges like Nuptse, Lhotse, Pumori, Khumbuste, Ama Dablam, and many more. Apart from the Himalayas, the Khumbu Glacier is so amazing to stare at. Experiencing the lifetime awesome experience, we step back to Gorak Shep with the same trial as there is no option for stay. Overnight stay at the tea house in Gorak Shep.

Day 12: Hike to Kalapathar(5,545 m/18,192 ft.)andtrek to Lobuche (4,930 m/16,170 ft.) 6-7 hrs.

Early in the morning, we will start our trek climbing the top of Kalapatthar (5,545 m). It is the best spot to view the scene in the Everest region. The early sunrise on top of snow-capped mountains leaves you still for a moment along with the breathtaking panoramic views of mountains. We traced back to Gorak Shep and take rest for meanwhile enjoying the breakfast and slowly move back to Lobuche. Overnight stay at the tea house in Lobuche.

Day 13: Trek from Lobuche to Dzongla (4,830 m/15,850 ft.) 4-5 hrs.

We descend back to Dzongla alongside the Khumbu Glacier after having breakfast at Lobuche. We reach Dzongla after crossing variant ups and down, the Chola Khola bridge and settle for the night stay at a tea house.

Day 14: Trek from Dzongla to Gokyo (4,750 m/15,580 ft.) via Cho La Pass (5,387 m/ 17,673 ft.) 7-8 hrs.

At Dzongla we start our day with breakfast and get well prepared for the next challenging trek crossing through Cho La pass. In the Everest region, passing through icy trials and glaciers, on top we can admire wonderful Chola Lake and beautiful Himalayan ranges. We continue our trek to Gokyo valley passing through Gokyo Lake. Overnight stay at the tea house in Gokyo.

Day 15: Acclimatization day at Gokyo and excursion over Gokyo RI (5,357 m/17,575 ft.) and Gokyo lakes. 3-4 hrs.

It’s another day for acclimatization at a higher altitude to ensure proper rest for a body. We will have enough leisure time to rest. We will have breakfast at Gokyo and explore the region

Day 16: Trek from Gokyo to Marulung (4,210 m/13,810 ft.) via Renjo La pass (5,345 m/17,532 ft.) 8-9 hrs.

It’s a third and final pass of this adventurous trek via Renjo La pass. After breakfast, we will head toward the end of Gokyo Lake. You can witness the astounding scenario of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Cholatse and Taboche and then over Renjo la pass. After accomplishing the crosses over the frozen ponds beneath Renjo la we trace our footstep back to the village, Marling. Overnight stay at the tea house in Marlung.

 

Day 17: Trek from Marlung to Namche Bazaar (3,440 m/11,286 ft.) 6-7 hrs.

We start our day with breakfast at Marlung make ourselves ready to move back to Namche Bazaar. On the way back you can interact with the people from Sherpa village and get a closer experience of their living style and culture and the monasteries.

Day 18: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2,804 m/9,200 ft.) 6-7 hrs.

Starting day with breakfast we will have continuous walk to Phakding. Following Dudh Koshi River and the suspension bridges, crossing over the pine and rhododendron forest, and ups and downs we finally reach Lukla. This is the final day of our trek so we will be enjoying our last dinner together celebrating the success of the trip.  We will be staying our last night together at a tea house in Lukla.

Day 19: Fly back to Kathmandu (1,320 m/4,330 ft.) 35 min. and free day

To fly back to Kathmandu, we will have an early flight which is about 35 to 40 minutes. After landing at Kathmandu airport our representatives will be there to receive you and they will be transferring you back to the hotel room. You can have a rest in your room or else can explore the shops and restaurants nearby.

Day 20: Farewell and Final Departure.

Our adventurous trek to the lap of mountains ends here and it’s time to say goodbye. Our representative will drop you to the airport and give you farewell hooping to see you again for another adventure at another part of Nepal.

Day 02: City Sightseeing to UNESCO sites

Today you will be taken a full day of sightseeing to visit UNESCO World Heritage Sites like Kathmandu Durbar Square, Boudhanath, Swayambhunath (The Monkey Temple), and Pashupatinath all within the Kathmandu Valley. A well-versed tour guide will accompany you for a guided tour. The evening can be spent browsing and wandering around the vibrant streets of Thamel, its excellent restaurants and souvenir shops.

 

Day 03: Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (2,804 m/ 9,200 ft.) 35 min & trek to Phakding (2,623 m/8,605 ft. 4-6 hrs).

Your day begins with an early departure on Domestic Airport morning flight to Lukla of about 35 minutes. After the landing, you will be introduced with Porters and crew members and start our trek to Phakding enjoying the beautiful views and interacting with lovely people from typical Sherpa’s villages. Overnight stay at the tea house in Phakding.

 

Day 04: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440 m/ 11,286 ft.) 6-7 hrs.

From Phakding, we ascend to Namche Bazaar; a delightful mountain town and considered as the gateway of Everest region. The Himalayas has mesmerizing views from Namche along with ever facilities like restaurants, bank, shops, etc. Overnight at tea house in Namche Bazaar.

Day 05: Rest day at Namche Bazaar

After the continuous trek today, we will have a rest day that is reserved as acclimatization process at the higher altitude. It is important to have proper rest so that you may not suffer from altitude sickness in further coming days. You can have a short hike towards Everest View Hotel to see the close-up views of famous mountain ranges along with the panoramic view of the world highest mountains including Mt. Everest. After enjoying the view, we will get back to Namche, and take rest and enjoy the rest of the day by visiting the beautiful town.

In the Everest region, passing through icy trials and glaciers, on top we can admire wonderful Chola Lake and beautiful Himalayan ranges. We continue our trek to Gokyo valley passing through Gokyo Lake. Overnight stay at the tea house in Gokyo.

Day 15: Acclimatization day at Gokyo and excursion over Gokyo RI (5,357 m/17,575 ft.) and Gokyo lakes. 3-4 hrs.

It’s another day for acclimatization at a higher altitude to ensure proper rest for a body. We will have enough leisure time to rest. We will have breakfast at Gokyo and explore the region

Day 16: Trek from Gokyo to Marulung (4,210 m/13,810 ft.) via Renjo La pass (5,345 m/17,532 ft.) 8-9 hrs.

It’s a third and final pass of this adventurous trek via Renjo La pass. After breakfast, we will head toward the end of Gokyo Lake. You can witness the astounding scenario of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Cholatse and Taboche and then over Renjo la pass. After accomplishing the crosses over the frozen ponds beneath Renjo la we trace our footstep back to the village, Marling. Overnight stay at the tea house in Marlung.

 

Day 17: Trek from Marlung to Namche Bazaar (3,440 m/11,286 ft.) 6-7 hrs.

We start our day with breakfast at Marlung make ourselves ready to move back to Namche Bazaar. On the way back you can interact with the people from Sherpa village and get a closer experience of their living style and culture and the monasteries.

Day 18: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2,804 m/9,200 ft.) 6-7 hrs.

Starting day with breakfast we will have continuous walk to Phakding. Following Dudh Koshi River and the suspension bridges, crossing over the pine and rhododendron forest, and ups and downs we finally reach Lukla. This is the final day of our trek so we will be enjoying our last dinner together celebrating the success of the trip.  We will be staying our last night together at a tea house in Lukla.

Day 19: Fly back to Kathmandu (1,320 m/4,330 ft.) 35 min. and free day

To fly back to Kathmandu, we will have an early flight which is about 35 to 40 minutes. After landing at Kathmandu airport our representatives will be there to receive you and they will be transferring you back to the hotel room. You can have a rest in your room or else can explore the shops and restaurants nearby.

Day 20: Farewell and Final Departure.

Our adventurous trek to the lap of mountains ends here and it’s time to say goodbye. Our representative will drop you to the airport and give you farewell hooping to see you again for another adventure at another part of Nepal.
